La plupart des bijoux en argent sont en argent sterling 925 : 92,5 % d’argent et 7,5 % de cuivre ajoutés pour rendre le métal plus dur et moins coûteux à travailler. C’est ce cuivre qui ternit, réagit à la transpiration et laisse sur la peau la marque verte que l’on attribue à tort à l’argent.
Chaque pièce de cette collection est en argent fin 999 massif, pur à 99,9 %. Sans cuivre, sans nickel et sans métal de base plaqué dissimulé sous une finition argentée. Ce que vous voyez est le métal dans toute son épaisseur, avec un éclat plus blanc et plus doux que celui de l’argent sterling.
Les finitions
Polie : une surface brillante et nette qui met en valeur la blancheur naturelle de l’argent pur.
Vieillie et texturée : les détails en creux sont volontairement assombris afin que les gravures, le martelage et les reliefs ressortent clairement. Il s’agit d’une finition délibérée, pas d’une usure.

Taille et coupe
Colliers
La plupart des pendentifs sont suspendus à une chaîne de 55 cm (environ 21,7 pouces), qui arrive au milieu de la poitrine chez la plupart des hommes. Certains modèles proposent également une chaîne réglable de 40 à 45 cm, qui se porte plus près du cou, vers la clavicule. Consultez l'option de longueur de chaîne de la pièce que vous regardez.
Bracelets à chaîne et à perles

Argent 999 pour homme : vos questions, nos réponses
Oui. Chaque pièce est en argent fin massif 999, pur à 99,9 %, et nous l’indiquons sur chaque page produit, car c’est tout l’intérêt de cette collection.
Il ne s’agit pas de laiton plaqué argent, ni d’argent sterling 925 portant simplement un nom plus prestigieux. Les bracelets en cordon sont clairement décrits comme étant en cordon textile avec des ornements en argent fin massif, afin que vous sachiez toujours quelles parties sont en métal.
Chaque pièce est également couverte par la garantie à vie Awareness Avenue.
L’argent fin est plus tendre que l’argent sterling, et nous préférons vous le dire plutôt que de prétendre le contraire. Les designs sont conçus autour de cette caractéristique : pendentifs de forte épaisseur, maillons épais et surfaces texturées ou martelées qui dissimulent les marques du quotidien au lieu de les mettre en évidence.
Portez-le tous les jours. Il développera progressivement une belle patine, comme un bon bracelet de montre en cuir. Si vous souhaitez lui redonner son aspect neuf, un chiffon à polir l’argent suffit en une minute.
Retirez-le pour les travaux nécessitant de soulever des charges lourdes, les sports de contact et les piscines chlorées.
Les photos montrent le design et la finition réels. Les pièces présentant des détails patinés ou martelés sont partiellement finies à la main ; la profondeur des zones assombries peut donc varier légèrement d'une pièce à l'autre. Cette légère variation est normale pour l'argent travaillé et contribue à rendre chaque pièce unique.

L’argent sterling contient 7,5 % de cuivre. Ce cuivre est ajouté pour rendre l’argent moins cher et plus dur, mais c’est aussi lui qui ternit le plus rapidement et réagit avec la peau.
En le retirant, vous obtenez un éclat plus blanc, un métal plus doux pour la peau et la simple satisfaction de posséder de l’argent pur. Sa fabrication coûte un peu plus cher, et nous maintenons un prix juste en vendant directement plutôt qu’en appliquant les marges du commerce de détail.
La peau verte est due au cuivre, et l’argent fin 999 n’en contient pas : il ne fera donc pas verdir votre peau. Il ne contient pas non plus de nickel, la cause la plus fréquente des allergies aux métaux.
Réponse honnête concernant le ternissement : tout argent véritable réagit lentement au soufre présent dans l’air et peut donc, avec le temps, prendre une teinte plus chaude et plus foncée. Sans cuivre, cela se produit plus lentement qu’avec l’argent sterling. Un chiffon à polir l’argent lui redonne son éclat en quelques secondes.
